Criminal Attempt, Burglary: Princeton Police Blotter

The Princeton Police blotter dated Dec. 10 had the following reports:

PRINCETON, NJ — On Dec. 7, a man told police that on Dec. 6 he fell off his skateboard on Stockton Street and lost several items in the process. The belongings, valued at approximately $300, were later taken by an unknown person after the man discovered that they were missing due to the fall.

On Dec. 7 at 8:54 a.m., following a motor vehicle stop on Monument Drive for Failure to Inspect a Motor Vehicle, the driver was found to have an active ATS warrant for her arrest in the amount of $550.00 out of Hamilton Twp. Municipal Court. The 28-year-old Trenton resident was placed under arrest, taken to police Headquarters, processed, and released with a new court date.

On Dec. 8 at 11:08 p.m., a resident told police that two men unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry to two vehicles in the driveway on Hunt Drive. The suspects fled the area in a white four door sedan. The suspects are described as Suspect 1 - White or Hispanic male, approximately 5'10" tall with a slim build and were wearing a black face mask, black hooded sweatshirt, olive green vest, white/black gloves, black pants, and gray/black/white sneakers. Suspect 2 - Male of unknown race, approximately 5'10" tall with a medium build, and was wearing a black face mask, black hooded sweatshirt, white undershirt, white/black gloves, black pants, white socks, and black/white sneakers

On Dec. 8, at 7:46 a.m., following a notification from Evesham PD regarding a stolen vehicle, Princeton patrol officers were able to locate the stolen vehicle on State Road. The driver, a Millersburg, PA resident was placed under arrest for receiving stolen property. He was also charged with hindering apprehension after it was determined that he provided false pedigree information to Princeton patrol officers during their initial investigation. The 22-year-old was later turned over to the custody of the Mercer County Correctional Center.

On Dec. 9 at 9:29 a.m., Princeton patrols responded to an establishment on Nassau Street on the report of a commercial burglary that took place earlier. The on-scene investigation revealed that an unidentified suspect forced entry into the business and stole approximately $100 worth of currency. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

The on-scene investigation revealed that an unidentified suspect forced entry into the business and stole approximately $200 worth of currency. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On Dec. 9 at 9:29 a.m., Princeton patrols responded to an establishment on Nassau Street on the report of criminal mischief. While investigating, it was determined that the unknown suspect attempted to make entry to another establishment on Nassau Street, however they were unable to make entry.
