Committee Endorses Lempert for Mayor, Six for Council
The meeting was held on Monday, March 26.

The Democratic Municipal Committees of Princeton Borough and Township held
a joint meeting on Monday, March 26 tonight to endorse candidates running for mayor and council of the consolidated Princeton.
The committees heard from the two mayoral candidates and each of the ten council candidates. The committees then voted to endorse Liz Lempert for mayor and Heather Howard, Bernie Miller, Lance Liverman, Patrick Simon, Jenny Crumiller and Jo Butler for council.  In addition, Scott Sillars and Tamara Matteo were recommended to appear in the column, but without the regular Democratic party slogan.
A total of 34 committee members were present, (15 Borough, 19 Township)and the meeting was conducted jointly by the two chairs. Sue Nemeth, vice chair for the Township Municipal Committee, was present in a non-voting capacity.

The committees were impressed with all the candidates who took part in
this process and with their credentials, thanks them for their commitment to service, and commitment to the Democratic party.
