Experience Princeton Starts New Contest To Kickstart Holiday Shopping
Customers and businesses can win prizes in this new contest that aims to encourage a robust business community.
PRINCETON, NJ – To further help local businesses as the festive season approaches, Experience Princeton has started a new initiative. The “ShopPrinceton2Win” contest will run from Oct. 28 through Dec. 10 and encourages customers to shop in Princeton for a chance to win prizes for themselves and business owners as well.
All Princeton businesses are automatically included in the promotion.
There will be six weekly drawings from Nov. 5-Dec. 10. Winning customers for each drawing will receive $500 and the business on the receipt will also receive $500.

This is how the contest works:
- Customers visit their favorite Princeton businesses or try a new one.
- They save each receipt of $20 or more from purchases made at those Princeton businesses.
- Customers go to the ShopPrinceton2Win website and upload their receipts to enter.
Every entry counts as multiple entries in the Grand Prize drawing for $1,500 to be held Dec. 10.

The ‘ShopPrinceton2Win’ contest aims to offer an exceptional experience to residents and visitors and encourage them to shop more, spend and advocate for a robust and diverse business community.
“The ShopLocal2Win campaigns have a proven track record of success,” Experience Princeton Executive Director Isaac Kremer said. “We’re proud to bring this promotional opportunity to Princeton businesses and consumers to jumpstart the holiday shopping season.”
Experience Princeton will be reaching out to the businesses and providing posters, flyers and more to build excitement around the contest.
“We’re really looking forward to the contest,” Kremer said. “ShopPrinceton2Win will provide a great reason for customers to spend a little more at their favorite Princeton businesses, perhaps try a new one, and add some excitement to the early holiday shopping season.”
