The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Mercer County and the surrounding areas until 10 p.m. tonight, Monday.
The advisory is in effect for central and southern New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania and parts of Maryland.
A lull in the showers and thunderstorms are expected this morning, followed by another round of heavy rain and thunderstorms which may continue through the evening and possibly into Tuesday morning.
