Foster To Continue Her Role At Princeton Schools For Another Year

The search for the next superintendent is expected to begin sometime in August, Board President Dafna Kendal said.

PRINCETON, NJ – Acting Superintendent Kathie Foster will continue her role at the school district for another year.

The announcement was made by Board of Education President Dafna Kendal during Tuesday’s meeting.

“At our June meeting, we did authorize Dr. Foster’s contract for another year. We received approval from the state to allow her to remain here for another year,” Kendal said.

“We realize that it is time now to take the next steps to finding our next superintendent.”

Kendal said that the BOE will be meeting again on July 29 to discuss the next steps in the process.

The search for the next superintendent is expected to begin sometime in August.

“So please stay tuned. We’ll try to update the community as we go along,” Kendal said.

To aid in the search, the school district is expected to start focus groups, surveys and other methods of community involvement in the process.
