Watercolor Workshop With W. Carl Burger
Historical Society of Princeton offers an opportunity to watch the artist demonstrate his technique and receive instruction and critique of their own work.
The Historical Society of Princeton will offer a one day workshop with artist W. Carl Burger, on Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Amateurs and professional watercolorists will be able to watch the prolific artist demonstrate his technique and receive instruction and critique of their own work.

The workshop will be held on the grounds of the Society’s Updike Farmstead. The six acre property, surrounded by preserved farmland, features a restored late 18th/early 19th century farmhouse and several outbuildings, including a large barn and corn crib.
Burger has an artistic career spanning more than five decades. He is a Professor Emeritus of Art from Kean University and most recently served as artist and curator for exhibitions at The New Jersey State Museum.

His work has also been shown at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. and the National Academy of Design and Lincoln Center in New York City. In addition, his art is in the corporate collections of British Airways, Warner Communications, AT&T, Johnson & Johnson, Nabisco World Headquarters, Schering-Plough and Ortho Pharmaceutical.
Comprehensive solo exhibitions have been on display at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio, and in New Jersey at the Noyes Museum and the Morris Museum.
