How Many Inches Of Snow Is Princeton Getting, And When?
The National Weather Service has updated its snow prediction for the Princeton area.
PRINCETON, NJ — A winter weather advisory has been issued for Princeton along with the rest of New Jersey ahead of a snowstorm that is predicted to dump 3 to 5 inches of snow on the municipality.
Snow is expected to start falling overnight on Thursday with most snow falling between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

- Thursday night: Snow, mainly after 1 a.m. Low around 26. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
- Friday: Snow likely, mainly before 9 a.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 34. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
The National Weather Service placed the Princeton area under a winter weather advisory for 10 p.m. Thursday to 10 a.m. Friday. Plan on slippery road conditions, which could impact morning commutes, the agency says.
Princeton police have asked residents to remove all cars from the road so that plow crews can work. Cars can be parked in one of the garages. Do not put snow from your driveway into the roads.
