Jamesburg Man Charged with Drug Possession at Starbucks

The alleged incident happened on Wednesday, July 31.

A Jamesburg man was arrested on Wednesday and charged with drug possession after Princeton Police responded to Starbucks Coffee on Nassau Street for a report of a suspicious person and discovered a patron had a syringe and suspected heroin, along with outstanding warrants. 

Justin Baureko, 33, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and held on outstanding warrants. Police then turned him over to New Brunswick Police. 

The incident happened on July 31 shortly before 3 p.m. at Starbucks Coffee on Nassau Street. 

Starbucks staff contacted police on Wednesday after they allegedly noticed a man acting strange and had entered the men's room repeatedly. 
 
Patrols arrived and discovered that Baureko had warrants totaling more than $1,500 out of several towns.

After Baureko was arrested, police allegedly discovered a syringe and suspected heroin in Baureko's possession.
