March Madness: Princeton Shocks No. 2 Seed Arizona In NCAA Tournament

For the first time in history a No. 15 has won a game three years in a row.

PRINCETON, NJ - Princeton University Men’s Basketball Team pulled off a shocking March Madness upset on Thursday, when they beat No. 2 seed Arizona 59-55.

It is only the 11th time in tournament history that a 15-seeded team knocked out a No. 2.

It is also for the first time in history that a No. 15 has won a game three years in a row.

This is the Tigers' first win in NCAA after the death of former coach Pete Carril. Carril had coached Princeton to an upset over UCLA back in 1996. At the time, UCLA was No.3.

Princeton's current coach, Mitch Henderson, was a player in the Tigers team when they upset UCLA 27 years ago.

The Tigers will now take on No. 7 Missouri on Saturday in the round of 32.
