Mercer County To Celebrate Olympian Athing Mu With Parade
A grand parade has been planned for the Olympian in Trenton City on Sunday.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — The City of Trenton and all of Mercer County is ready to welcome its daughter and Olympic hero, Athing Mu with a grand parade on Sunday.
According to City officials, the parade will be held “rain or shine,” since Mu is expected to return home this weekend. After winning gold in the Tokyo Olympics, Mu did not return home, instead went directly to Texas A&M University where she is a freshman. This will be her first visit home after the Olympics.
The parade assembly will begin at 1 p.m. at Trenton Central High School on 400 Chambers Street. Beginning at 2 p.m., the procession will make its way along the various Trenton streets before ending at Trenton City Hall.
