Nashville-Style Hot Chicken Is Coming Soon To Princeton
California-based The Red Chickz recently signed a franchisee deal to open a location in Princeton.
PRINCETON, NJ — The Red Chickz, a fast-casual chicken joint announced that it plans to open in Princeton soon.
The Nashville-style hot chicken joint signed a franchisee deal with Kevin and Arpan Patel to bring the restaurant to the Municipality.
“Princeton offers a unique combination of accessibility to key urban hubs and a vibrant, growing food scene. The community is renowned for its strong sense of local pride and diverse demographics, including a prominent student presence from Princeton University, as well as young professionals and retirees. Its welcoming atmosphere and unwavering support for businesses make it an ideal location, and we are excited to become part of this thriving community,” Kevin and Arpan said in a joint statement.

The three-unit franchise agreement also includes a location in Mays Landing, the company said.
Customers in Princeton can look forward to indulging in quality Nashville-style hot chicken, celebrated for its perfect balance of heat, crunch, and savory flavor.

“Our outlet will provide a welcoming, customer-first experience in a fast-casual setting. With a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients, we are committed to offering an unforgettable taste experience for everyone—from spice enthusiasts to those who prefer milder options. One must-try item is our signature Honey butter sandwich, a standout treat you won’t want to miss,” the Patels said.
They are currently working on three locations - two “conveniently situated near Princeton’s prime areas” and a third near Atlantic City.
The goal is to open by fall 2025, if not sooner.
The Red Chickz also has franchise deal for Mantua, Washington, and Gloucester Townships.
The California-born fast-casual restaurant serves Nashville-style hot chicken. Some of the popular items on their menu are the Honey Butter Sandwich, French Toast Sandwich, chicken tenders, cauliflower bites and sides like corn ribs, mac and cheese, and more.
