MERCER COUNTY, NJ – Mercer County has an abundance of hiking trails and biking routes. And you are an outdoor enthusiast, you have a new trail to explore.
Mercer County Park Commission’s Stewardship team recently completed a re-route of the Copper Hill Trail Loop.
The new loop reconnects the trail through a section of the mountain with moderate slopes and talus providing moderately challenging hiking. Hikers can still use the old Copper Hill Trail to access the Honey Hollow ruins on the south side of the trail.

Due to the presence of sensitive habitat, the new trail is designated for hiking only. No cyclist or equestrian use is permitted, officials said.
Currently, the old Copper Hill Loop is closed due to unsafe conditions.
