NJ-12 Election Results: Watson Coleman Wins, AP Says
Candidates on the ballot were Bonnie Watson Coleman, Darius Mayfield, Kim Meudt, and Vic Kaplan.

PRINCETON, NJ — Voters in the 12th Congressional District went the polls on Tuesday to cast ballots for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives as part of the 2024 general election. The district includes several municipalities in Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset and Union counties.
Candidates appearing on the ballot include incumbent Bonnie Watson Coleman (Democrat), Darius Mayfield (Republican), Kim Meudt (Green Party), and Vic Kaplan (Libertarian Party).
With 88 percent of votes counted, the Associated Press projected that Watson Coleman is the winner. Here were the uncertified election results at the time the AP called the race:

- Bonnie Watson Coleman: 173,966 (60.1%)
- Darius Mayfield: 108,544 (37.5%)
- Kim Meudt: 4,104 (1.4%)
- Vic Kaplan: 2,617 (0.9%)
In a statement put out on platform X, Watsome Coleman thanked the voters of NJ-12 for electing her yet again.
"Together we can reject hate, division, and apathy & build a country where everyone can thrive & enjoy the freedoms that make our country great," Watson Coleman said. "I look forward to continuing to fight for you."

The 12th District includes the following municipalities: Princeton, Hopewell, Pennington, Ewing, South Brunswick, East Brunswick, Cranbury, Monroe, Plainsboro, South River, Spotswood, Franklin Township, Montgomery, and North Plainfield.
