“I think this is a national crisis and don’t feel Princeton is excluded, even if may not be in dire straits like other cities,” said Myrna Fichtenbaum a volunteer with the Mid-Jersey MoveOn Council who helped organize Sunday’s program.

Attendees will have an opportunity to learn from the panel, ask questions and be offered specific action items, including communications with lawmakers in Washington, Fichtenbaum said.

The event is part of the American Dream Movement’s national campaign to focus the conversation on the number-one problem facing our community and the nation---the jobs crisis.

The movement was inspired by protests in Wisconsin. MoveOn.org, along with the AFL-CIO and dozens of other organizations, have joined the American Dream Movement to fight to ensure that Americans have the opportunity to find a decent job, afford to go to college, and secure a future for our children.
