Police Log: Stolen Bicycle, Open Containers of Alcohol

Princeton Police reported the following incidents for the period April 23-24.

 

On April 23 at 8:02 a.m., a caller reported that someone overnight on April 22, his son's Trek bicycle was stolen from the front porch of their home in the first block of Maple Street. 

The silver and black bike was unlocked at the time of the theft. Its value was not immediately known.

On April 24 at 10:54 p.m., two people were arrested for having open containers of alcohol in violation of a local ordinance.

Rony Salguero, 22, of Leigh Avenue and Amilcar Alonzo, 33, of Leigh Avenue were charged after Ptl. Chris King and Ptl. Mike Strobel found them in a public area on Witherspoon St. near Leigh Ave., both allegedly had open containers of alcohol.

Both Salguero and Alonzo were issued summonses and released at the scene.
