Do You Recognize This Vehicle? Police Seek Help In Princeton Hit-&-Run​

The incident took place on South Harrison Street near the marked crosswalk at the D&R Canal Path.

PRINCETON, NJ - A pedestrian was struck and sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run that took place on March 25, and the police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the vehicle involved.

On March 25 around 5:32 p.m., a pedestrian was struck while crossing in the crosswalk on South Harrison Street near the marked crosswalk at the D&R Canal Path.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries, and the vehicle fled the scene, heading northbound on South Harrison Street, police said.

Authorities are now seeking the public’s help in identifying the involved vehicle, which was photographed by a witness.

Believed to be a newer model Subaru Outback with unknown NJ registration, the vehicle is black, has a vertically aligned roof rack, and a black rear bumper with a two-tone silver accent below the trunk. “Despite enhancement efforts, the license plate remains unreadable,” police said.
