Princeton Continues Dream Run, Enters March Madness Sweet 16

The Tigers will play No. 6 seed Creighton on Friday.

PRINCETON, NJ – The Princeton Men’s Basketball team is continuing its March Madness dream run after a victory over No. 7 seed Missouri on Saturday.

Princeton beat Missouri 78-63 to enter the round of 16.

The Tigers are only the fourth 15-seed to reach the Sweet 16 in men’s tournament history.

“This is a very, very confident group. We are so thrilled to be going into the Sweet 16. It’s an absolute pleasure to be around these guys,” Coach Mitch Henderson said during the post-match conference.

Princeton will play No. 6 seed Creighton on Friday, as they look to advance to their first Elite Eight since 1965.
