Author Henry Giroux wil discuss The Crisis of Youth in the Age of Disposability and what the author considers a war being waged against youth in an emerging culture of privatization, insecurity, criminalization, and commodification. An author signing will follow, 7-9 p.m.

Saturday

at the Princeton Township Muncipal Complex, 400 Witherspoon St., with refreshments, a raffle and obstacle course.  Free helmets will be given to the first 50 youth pre-registrations, 10 a.m.  

, including a maypole, we raise the maypole, live music, healthy foods, and children's activities, crafters, artists and merchants, 11 a.m. 

Singer and pianist Fred Miller presents a program focusing on lyricist, composer, pop singer and recording executive Johnny Mercer, whose  hits include “That Old Black Magic,” and “Fools Rush In,” 3 p.m.  

featuring award-winning seniors Albert Lee, Lauren Jolly, Ann Lee and Victoria Wang. Performances include selections from Brahms, Liszt, Chopin, Morel, Schumann and Glinka, 6 p.m. 

 features art through the ages and from around the world. Family Day offers hands-on activities, live performaces, storytelling and a scavenger hunt, 10 a.m. 

at to benefit the Appalachian Service Project, where thousands of teens volunteer for one week a year, 7 p.m. 

 

Sunday

 - A Locavore's Adventure! The event will offer guests an opportunity to mingle with chefs, bid on fabulous items and taste bites from local purveyors and artisans. All ticket sales benefit Share Our Strength's efforts to end childhood hunger in America, 2 p.m. 

, the last concert by Artistic Director Frances Fowler Slade. Soloists will be Mary Ellen Callahan, soprano, Alyson Harvey, mezzo-soprano, Robert Petillo, tenor, and Kevin Deas, bass, 3 p.m. 

, YWCA Princeton Nursery School Educator. Current and past students, their families, colleagues and acquaintances are invited to celebrate Patti's life and contributions in a fun-filled celebration, 3 p.m.
