Princeton Police to Host Youth Academy in August
The program is open to students entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade in September of 2013 and who attend a public or private school in Princeton.

The department will host its annual youth academy beginning on Aug. 19 and running for five consecutive days from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The program involves classroom activities, hands on techniques and police demonstrations. It is open to students entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade in September of 2013 and who attend a public or private school in Princeton.
Some of the topics to be covered include car accident investigations, crime scene investigation, arrest procedures, motor vehicle stops, building searches, fire safety, basic first aid and much more. This program will also help to build self confidence and dicipline in its participants.

To attend the academy, a registration form must be completed and returned to The Princeton Police Station (Attention: Ptl. Leonard Thomas) by May 20, 2013. Click here for the registration form.
