Princeton Public Schools Calendar For 2024-25: Key Dates To Know

PRINCETON, NJ — The first day of school in Princeton Public Schools is Tuesday, Sept. 3.

Princeton has six schools - four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.

Here are some of the important 2024-25 school year dates to get on the calendar:

• Start date: Tuesday, Sept. 3
• Staff development day, no school: Aug. 27-29; Nov. 5; Jan. 29, 2025; June 3, 2025
• Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 5, schools closed
• Rosh Hashanah: Oct. 3, schools closed
• Diwali: Nov. 1 schools closed
• NJEA Convention – Nov. 7-8 schools closed
• Thanksgiving break: Nov. 28-29
• Winter break: Dec. 25 to Jan. 1, 2025
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day, no school: Monday, Jan. 20
• Presidents Day: Monday, no school: Feb. 17
• Eid: March 31, schools closed
• Family-teacher conference: DAY, DATE
• Spring break: April 14-21
• Memorial Day: May 26
• Princeton High School Graduation: June 18
