Princeton residents were among those at today’s Boston Marathon, with many leaving unhurt.
Robert Borham, who makes it a tradition to run the Bostom Marathon every year, was unable to make the race this because he was injured. But his brother-in-law, Chris Sallade did. Fortunately, Sallade was on his way home Tuesday evening unhurt, having finished the race before the explosions, Borham told Patch.
Three are dead and scores are injured after two explosions near the finish line of Monday's Boston Marathon, which featured more than 500 runners from New Jersey.

A loud explosion was heard near a bridge that marks the finish line in the annual race, the New York Times reported. Reports later came in of a third explosion at the JFK Library. The marathon was stopped as authorities tend to the wounded and lock down nearby buildings and flights have been banned over the blast site.
Earlier, NBC Nightly News tweeted that a "small homemade bomb" was the source of the explosions.
