Princeton’s Winberie’s Restaurant To Host Anniversary Outdoor Cookout

PRINCETON, NJ — Winberie's Restaurant & Bar is celebrating 40 years. To commemorate this milestone, the restaurant will host an outdoor summer cookout at Palmer Square on July 14.

The event is open to the public and will feature food and beverages available for purchase.

Winberie’s is best known for its Princeton pub personality and casual atmosphere. Through 2024, the restaurant has featured a mix of special programming and limited-time partnerships to celebrate 40 years in business – including nostalgic rewind dishes, craft beer partnerships, distillery collaborations and more.

Most recently, it released a limited-edition signature brew in partnership with soon-to-be Brick Township-based Icarus Brewing Company.

“Over the last 40 years, Winberie's has become a cherished destination for generations of Princeton residents and visitors alike. To celebrate this significant milestone, we’re inviting the community to join us for a special evening in the heart of Palmer Square. This is our way of recognizing and thanking our loyal guests, neighbors, employees and vendors who have supported us over the years,” said Albert Amoroso, general manager at Winberie’s Restaurant & Bar.

Winberie’s will also be offering fan favorites from its four-decade history, featuring special 20th-century throwback pricing. There will be a curated selection of craft beers from a variety of partners including Icarus Brewing Company, New Trail Brewing and Little Water Distillery.

Winberie’s will also be presenting cocktail demonstrations of its signature “Princeton 75” drink and an additional selection of spirits.

The evening will feature live music, giveaways with exclusive merchandise, a 360-degree selfie station and historic imagery of Winberie's legacy of excellence.

The Winberie’s 40th Anniversary Bash will take place on July 14 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. in Palmer Square.
