The Princeton Education Foundation’s 2013 Teacher Appreciation Campaign has officially kicked off throughout Princeton’s public schools. An opportunity to say thank you to the many women and men who share their creativity and love of learning with our students, the Teacher Appreciation Campaign raises money to improve educational tools, facilities and programs at every grade level, especially through the Teacher Mini-Grant program.
For a donation of any amount, the Princeton Education Foundation will display a paper apple on the wall of one of Princeton’s public schools (the choice of school is up to the donor). The apple will feature the name of either the donor, or the donor’s child/children or family. The campaign continues throughout the month of May. All contributions are tax-deductible.

“Of the many variables that contribute to a child’s success in school, the one that is consistently shown to make a tangible difference is his or her teacher,” said Adrienne Rubin, executive director of the Princeton Education Foundation. “The Teacher Appreciation Campaign is an easy and fun way for the community to support our excellent educators and their invaluable work.”
“The teachers in the Princeton Public Schools are of the highest caliber and are the foundation of our school system,” said District Superintendent Judith Wilson. “Through this campaign we can show our gratitude for their dedication as well as our deep commitment to providing the best education for our students.”
