Princeton U. Hosting Fan Send-Off For Team Wednesday Ahead Of Sweet 16

The send-off party will be held 12:30 p.m. at the Jadwin Gym. Princeton will play No. 6 seed Creighton on Friday.

PRINCETON, NJ — The Princeton Men's Basketball Team is having a great March Madness run.

Princeton University is hosting a public fan send-off for the Tigers on Wednesday before their departure to Louisville to play in the Sweet 16.

The "Sweetest Send-Off Party" for the Tigers will be held Wednesday, 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Jadwin Gym.

There will be pizza, music and giveaways, as fans shower their well-wishes on the Tigers.

Over the weekend, Princeton beat No. 7 seed Missouri 78-63 to enter the round of 16.

The Tigers are only the fourth 15-seed to reach the Sweet 16 in men’s tournament history.

Princeton will play No. 6 seed Creighton on Friday, as they look to advance to their first Elite Eight since 1965.
