Princeton University's Director Accepts Job at Franklin & Marshall College
Cass Cliatt will join the college Jan. 3.

Cass Cliatt, director of news and editorial services at Princeton University, has been named vice president for college communications at Franklin & Marshall in Lancaster, Pa.
She will begin Jan. 3.
"(Cliatt) stood out from an exceptionally strong pool of candidates because of her collaborative style, expertise in leading institutional communications and success in reaching a wide range of constituencies." said Daniel Porterfield, president of Franklin & Marshall College.

According to a release from Franklin & Marshall, Cliatt has been instrumental in the following Princeton initiatives over the past six years:
- communications and outreach campaigns surrounding construction and redevelopment under the university’s 10-year campus plan and the launch of the university’s $1.75 billion Aspire fundraising campaign.
- communications of the institution’s sustainability efforts, the establishment of a social media policy and strategy and ongoing efforts surrounding the financial aid program.
Cliatt graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Princeton and earn a master's degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Prior to joining the communications staff at Princeton, Ckiatt was deputy director of communications and policy for the Clerk’s Office of Cook County, Ill.

"I look forward to working with the talented team at F&M to help engage faculty, students, staff and alumni in communicating the efforts of the college with its many publics."
