PRINCETON, NJ – The Gretalia Hospitality Group (GHG), the franchisee owners of several Mercer County restaurants, has partnered with a local nonprofit to fight hunger this Holiday season.
GHG and Princeton-based Share My Meals (SMM) are joining forces to address food insecurity in the area and reduce food waste.

SMM recovers surplus meals from large cafeterias and delivers them to residents in need.
Since beginning its Meal Recovery Program, SMM has recovered 206,00 healthy meals, saving 280,000 pounds of food from ending up in landfills and preventing more than 1.2 million pounds of carbon dioxide emissions.
The new partnership will help SMM expand its operations and serve more food-insecure residents in New Jersey.
“We want to express our gratitude to John Procaccini and the Gretalia team, and to all future customers who will dine with purpose,” Hélène Lanctuit, CEO of Share My Meals said in a statement.
“Food insecurity is a pressing and growing issue for our neighbors. Partnerships like this help us address urgent needs while fostering a sense of community.”
