Six Dems Win Princeton Primary for Council
The winners move forward to the general election in November.

Princeton Democrats have selected six nominees for Princeton Council and those candidates will now move to the November ballot.Â
The unofficial election results released by Princeton's Clerk's Office on Tuesday night were as follows:Â

- Lance Liverman: 2,208
- Heather Howard: 2,187
- Bernie Miller: 2,170
- Patrick Simon: 1,941
- Jenny Crumiller: 1,923
- Jo Butler: 1,755
- Scott Sillars: 1,413
- Tamera Matteo: 1,326
- Roger Martindell: 1,041
Liverman, Howard, Miller, Simon, Crumiller and Butler will face Republican challenger Geoff Aton in November. Aton, who ran unopposed in Tuesday's primary, garnered 438 votes.Â
The six candidates who win in November will comprise the council of a newly consolidated Princeton effective Jan. 1, 2013, when the muncipal consolidation of Princeton Borough and Princeton Township becomes official.Â

Democratic turnout on Tuesday was 35 percent.Â
