The Latest Construction Updates on the Arts & Transit Project
Here's the work going on this week.

Here's the latest update on Princeton University's Arts & Transit project along Alexander Street:
- Alexander Street remains closed between University Place and College Road.
- Street parking outside Wawa is closed during the Alexander Street closure.
- The north side street parking adjacent the Berlind Theater lawn has been closed for utility work.
- Tree removal continues along the west side of Alexander Street and on the Berlind Theater lawn.
- PSEG is scheduled to start the temporary pole installation work on the west side of Alexander Street and on the Berlind Theater lawn
- The temporary sidewalk along the west side of Alexander Street is done.
- Debris continues to be trucked off-site from both the north and south construction zones
- Fill material continues to be trucked on-site.
- Parking and sidewalk on the east side Alexander Street parking is closed.
- Utility storm work in Alexander Street was completed at the southern end of the site on Friday.
- Utility electric work in Alexander Street will begin this week just north of last week’s storm work. A police detail will be scheduled
- NJT work on the tracks and overhead Catenary was completed over the weekend
- The Temporary Station Trailer is scheduled to be delivered later this week.
