The Week Ahead in Princeton: Community Night Out, Free Outdoor Concert & More

  1. Monday is expected to be sunny with a high near 79 and slight chance of showers overnight. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be cloudy with a chance of showers and a chance of thunderstorms and showers overnight. On Friday, it will be mostly cloudy with chance of showers and thunderstorms. The sun will return this weekend with a high near 87 on Saturday and a high near 83 on Sunday. 
  2. Princeton celebrates National Community Night Out on Tuesday night from 5-8 p.m. Free admission to the pool, plus hot dogs, drinks, a rock climbing wall, dunk a cop tank and more. Stop by for lots of fun!
  3. Monday Blues Jazz Orchestra presents a free outdoor concert on Thursday at the Princeton Shopping Center. The group will perform classic big band jazz, popular standards, and modern hits. Bring a lawn chair, 6-8 p.m. 
  4. A reminder that a tree trimming project will take place this week on Route 206 between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. State Road will be closed to through traffic and message boards and detours will be in place. 
  5. Moore Street will be closed between Franklin Avenue and Houghton Street on Monday and Tuesday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., weather permitting. Moore Street will be closed between Franklin Avenue and Houghton Street between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm - Monday and Tuesday  Moore Street will be closed between Houghton and Hawthorne during the same hours, weather permitting, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
