The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:

PRINCETON, NJ - On May 2, at 11:42 p.m., a woman told police that while she was eating lunch at a restaurant on Witherspoon Street, a woman sat down at a table next to her and stole her wallet. The wallet contained cash and several credit cards. The suspect left the restaurant without ordering any food and later used the woman's credit cards at two businesses in Princeton. The total amount charged to the victim’s credit cards was $4,321.21. The investigation is ongoing.

On May 3, between 6:30 p.m. and 8:05 p.m., a woman told police her vehicle was parked in a parking lot off North Harrison Street. Upon returning to her car, she discovered that the rear window was partially shattered. It was determined that there was no entry into the vehicle and nothing was taken. The estimated cost of the damage to the rear window is between $500 and $1,000. Currently, there are no suspects in this case.

On April 27, at 4:15 a.m., following a motor vehicle stop for improper parking and failure to keep right, the driver, a 33-year-old Princeton resident, was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. The man was taken to PPD Headquarters where he was processed and released after receiving summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failure to keep right, and prohibited parking.

On April 28, at 3:58 a.m., following a motor vehicle stop for obstructing the passage of other vehicles on Nassau Street, the driver, a 41-year-old Rahway resident, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was taken to PPD Headquarters where he was processed and released with summonses for obstructing the passage of other vehicles, driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, failure to produce registration failure to produce proof of insurance.

On April 29, at 7:32 p.m., patrol officers responded to a business on State Road following a report of a white female wearing gray sweatpants, fuzzy slippers, and a black shirt who was allegedly stealing items from the store. Upon investigation, it was determined that the woman, a 35-year-old Martinsville resident, was taking various miscellaneous items without paying for them and placing them in her bags. She was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing, and she was later transported to the Mercer County Correctional Center.
