Today in Princeton: National Night Out, Cemetery Tour & More

Here's what going on around town today.

  1. Today will be partly sunny, with a high near 81. Expect isolated showers after 3 p.m. Overnight, expect scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. 
  2. Princeton Public Library will lead a Nassau Presbyterian Cemetery Tour. Children 8 and older with an adult are invited to tour the historic cemetery, learn about styles of tombstones and see where some notable Princeton figures are buried. Meet in the library lobby at 1:45 p.m., tour will be from 2-3 p.m. 
  3. Princeton celebrates National Community Night Out on Tuesday night from 5-8 p.m. Free admission to the pool, plus hot dogs, drinks, a rock climbing wall, dunk a cop tank and more. Stop by for lots of fun!
  4. A reminder that a tree trimming project will take place this week on Route 206 between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. State Road will be closed to through traffic and message boards and detours will be in place. 
  5. Moore Street will be closed between Franklin Avenue and Houghton Street on Monday and Tuesday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., weather permitting
