Today in Princeton: Picnic & Movie at P.U. Art Museum, Farmers Market, Free Concert

Here's what's going on in town today.

Here’s your daily list of essential things going on in Princeton today.

1. Expect showers and thunderstorms today, with a high near 78.  with temperatures in the low 80s. Chance of rain is 80 percent and we could get up to three quarters of an inch of rainfall. Overnight expect more showers and possibly a thunderstorm. 

2. Enjoy an outdoor picnic and screening of the film Night at the Museum (starring Ben Stiller) at the Princeton University Art Museum. Picnic begins at 6:30 p.m., movie to begin at sundown. Picnic and film will be located at the Brown/Dod Quad.

3. Princeton Farmers Market will be open at Hinds Plaza (next to the Princeton Public Library) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Live music from singer/songwriter Avi Wisnia will perform from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

4. Singer/Songwriter Avi Wisnia presents an eclectic mix of original songs, finding inspiration in classic Brazilian bossa nova, acoustic American folk, 1950’s west-coast jazz, and contemporary pop. Princeton Shopping Center courtyard, 6-8 p.m. 

5. Don’t forget about the construction projects around town, and the changes to the Dinky service. (They’re using a bus instead of a train this week)
