About WE MAKE: We Make has turned a conventional manufacturing and fulfillment site into the ultimate proof of concept: a nurturing, stress-free workspace for the assembling and packaging of a wide variety of goods. We Make opened its doors and began with three staff people. Now, six years later, We Make employs over 55 persons in two New Jersey facilities. Of these, 85% + of these staff members receive accommodations due to their individual learning style and diagnosis, yet they meet or exceed the typical production quotas of their non-disabled peers.
Unlike other agencies in New Jersey serving persons with autism, developmental disabilities, or learning disabilities, We Make does not receive any funding from governmental sources.
