(UPDATED) Woman Suffers Head Injury After Being Struck by Truck on Route 206
Police say the injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

A woman suffered multiple injuries on Friday afternoon after she was struck by an oncoming delivery truck, according to Princeton Police.
The accident happened shortly before 1 p.m.

Erika Romero, 36, was crossing Route 206 from Branning's Princeton Auto Body to the gas station across the street when she was hit by a truck that was leaving the gas station and turning north onto Route 206, Police Lt. Chris Morgan said. Romera was struck by the truck's front grill and bumper.
The truck was going slow, Morgan said.

The truck was driven by Daniel Smith, 26, according to police. Smith remained at the scene and was cooperative. He has not been charged.
Romero suffered a broken left wrist and head trauma. She was stabilized by medics at the scene and transported to Capital Health Systems at Fuld for further treatment.
Route 206 was closed for about 30 minutes and traffic was detoured. An investigation continues.
