The Ramsey Recreation Commission is sponsoring the 36th Annual Jack McKeown Memorial Ramsey Run Saturday beginning with a 10K at 8 a.m. followed by a 5K at 9:45 a.m. The Ramsey Police, Fire, Ambulance and OEM will be on hand assisting with the event. The race begins and ends at the Ramsey Municipal Pool on East Oak Street.
The deadline for pre-race registration is Wednesday, Sept. 18. The cost is $25. Race day registration fee is $30. A portion of the registration fee goes to the Jack McKeown Scholarship fund.
T-shirts for first 300 runners, time splits, post-race results, refreshments, computerized timing by Compuscore Race and Scoring System. Awards ceremonies following finish of both 10K and 5K runs.Trophies are awarded to the first three overall finishers and age group finishers, both for male and female categories. There are no duplicate trophies. All runners 10 and younger will receive participation awards.
