6 Taken To Hospital Following Route 17 Crash In Ramsey: Police

A minivan and a Lexus collided on Route 17 North, police said.

RAMSEY, NJ — Six people were taken to the hospital after a minivan and a Lexus collided on Route 17 North Monday morning, police said.

The crash occurred just north of the Spring Street exit at about 10 a.m. when one of the vehicles tried to exit the highway there, said Chief Bryan Gurney.

The minivan spun around and seven people were injured in the crash, Gurney said. Six people were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries.

The Ramsey and Upper Saddle River ambulance corps and from Valley Hospital responded to the scene, the chief said.
