Free ACL Safety Clinic in Ramsey Tuesday

Athletes, coaches, and parents in and around Ramsey are invited to find out more about torn ACLs, and how to prevent them.

Kinetic PT, a physical therapy center specializing in orthopedic and sports medicine with offices in Ramsey and Park Ridge, hosts free clinics for the community several times a month. According to owner Evan Chait, the injury is a common one among local kid and teen sports players.

“ACL injuries are very common in our community. We get patients [with torn ACLs all the time,” Chait said. “It seemed to us like there was a huge need for an event like this.”

The seminar will include talks, demonstrations, and exercise recommendations aimed at promoting ACL safety, and sharing tips on how to proactively reduce the risk of ACL injury. High school athletes, parents, and coaches are invited to attend.

It starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
