Ramsey Police Department Accepting Applications for New Officers

The Ramsey Police Department has announced that it will be hiring police officers and is accepting applications through 5 p.m. Oct. 16. According to Ramsey Police Chief Bryan Gurney, any one interested in applying must meet the following minimum requirements:

• A four-year college degree, or
• At least two years of active military service with a two-year college degree or 60 credits from an accredited college, or
• At least four years of active military service, with a commitment to complete a two-year degree or receive 60 credits within the next five years.
