Ramsey Pub's Burgers Featured On Travel Channel Show

The Shannon Rose Irish Pub showed off its most 'decadent, to-die-for burgers.'

RAMSEY, NJ — A local pub got to show off some of its most well-known offerings on the Travel channel's "Food Paradise" Sunday.

The Shannon Rose Irish Pub, which has locations in Ramsey and Clifton, highlighted some of its most popular burger offerings on the show's "extreme burgers" episode.

"We are honored that the Travel Channel thought of us, and the episode theme was a perfect fit given that burgers are among the top-sellers at our restaurants," Regan DeBenedetto, the restaurant's director of operations, said in a press release. "We can't wait to watch the episode and show off two of the fantastic food offerings from our chef-driven, scratch-made menu.

The two burgers featured were the 2nd Ave. Burger and the Murder Burger.

The Murder Burger is fried in Harp beer batter, bun, meat and all. It is served on a brioche roll with American and pepper jack cheese, sautéed onions, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, housemade pickles, ketchup and Thousand Island dressing.

The 2nd. Ave. Burger is "fresh ground beef grilled topped with hot pastrami, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing on a butter-toasted brioche bun," the Shannon Rose's menu states.

The episode will reair on the Travel Channel Jan. 21 at 7 p.m.
