Shannon Rose Pub Says New Year's Isn't Just for Adults Anymore
The Irish pub in Ramsey is holding a special New Year's celebration geared to the whole family.
It used to be said that Christmas, with its toys, gifts, decorations, and trees, was all for kids. The adults got to play on New Year's, when kids were tucked in bed with a babysitter on the watch.

The Irish-themed establishment is making New Year's a family occasion. They're hosting a special celebration where children and adults can ring in the New Year together in a festive atmosphere.
Beginning at 4 p.m., children and adults can enjoy face painting, party horns, balloons, a kids’ meal special and sweet treats. There will be a special apple cider toast at 7 p.m. because that's when it will be midnight in Dublin, Ireland, the pub's promotional material said.
