5K Welcomes All to Annual Charity Run/Walk June 14, Benefiting YMCA Water Safety for Red Bank Youth
Red Bank Classic Introduces Adaptive Athlete Category, New Flatter Course
More than 1,500 runners and walkers are expected at the Red Bank Classic 5K starting line this Saturday, June 14, on iconic Broad Street. The charity run/walk will kick off summer and raise support for water safety education for borough youth at the Red Bank Family YMCA.
From elite runners and wheelchair racers to casual walkers, the Red Bank Classic 5K welcomes participants of all ages and abilities. Leashed dogs are welcome too!
The community event is organized and hosted by the Red Bank RiverCenter and supported by numerous local businesses including presenting sponsor The Robinson Ale House, and gold sponsors Raymond James and VTI Studios.
Race organizers are pleased to introduce a dedicated adaptive category, celebrating and supporting athletes of all abilities. This year's 3.1-mile race will follow a newly designed, flatter 3.1-mile course certified by USA Track & Field.

After the 5K, participants and families can enjoy a kids' fun run, bounce house, and a high-energy Fitness Fest featuring wellness activities, health resources, and music. The celebration will continue with a post-race party at The Robinson Ale House.
The event champions health and well-being for all, while raising funds for the local Y’s Safety Around Water program, which provides free swim lessons to third graders in Red Bank — a vital resource in the Shore region. Since its start, the 5K has raised $60,000 to support local youth programs.

The 5K will count as a USATF Grand Prix Event. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three overall female and male finishers and the first male and female masters’ finishers. All adaptive finishers will be recognized.
Please note, streets on the course will begin closing at 8 a.m. on race day.

Registration is $45 for the 5K and $25 for the Broad Street Dash and available only online at RedBankClassic.com.
Packet Pick Up Information
Premium swag bags are available to the first 1,000 participants who pick up their 5K bibs.
Packet pick up is Thursday, June 12, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Friday, June 13, 7-10 a.m. & 3-7 p.m at the Red Bank Family YMCA, 166 Maple Ave.
On race day, Saturday, June 14, packet pickup and race-day registration is 7-8:15 a.m. on Broad Street at the corner of Monmouth Street. Participants must register online!
All Broad Street Dash bibs must be picked up by 8:15 a.m. on race day.
