Bad Weather Extends Closure Of Route 520 West In Red Bank
Utility work on Route 520 West (Newman Springs Road) at Route 35 will have to continue to Thursday due to weather delays, officials say.
RED BANK, NJ — Due to weather delays, the westbound closure of Newman Springs Road (Route 520) has been extended to 4 a.m. Thursday, May 4, the borough announced.
The closure is from Broad Street (Route 35) to Laurel Street. The westbound lanes will remain closed 24/7 through 4 a.m. Thursday for work by New Jersey American Water Co.
The borough asks that motorists follow posted detours and plan alternate routes.
