Carlo's Bake Shop Shuttered In Red Bank

RED BANK, NJ - Red Bank residents will have to travel a little farther if they want some goodies from Carlo's Bake Shop, since the company recently closed its Red Bank bakery after five years in business.

A sign on the store door at 86 Broad Street Wednesday morning said the shop was closing, according to redbankgreen.com. Customers were encouraged to visit stores in Marlton and Philadelphia.

The lease on the Red Bank store ended and the company decided not to renew the lease, according to nj.com

Company representatives did not return a call to Patch on Wednesday.
