Dog Thrown out of Car on Parkway, Badly Injured
The small was badly injured, according to the Monmouth County SPCA. Police are seeking information about the incident.

A small dog was badly injured Saturday afternoon when it was thrown from a moving car on the Garden State Parkway and then struck by another vehicle, according to the Asbury Park Press.
The dog, a brown female mixed terrier, suffered severe injuries, said Victor “Buddy” Amato, the chief law enforcement officer for the Monmouth County SPCA.
Amato said the incident happened between noon and 1 p.m. in the southbound express lanes, near Exit 116 and the State Police barracks in Holmdel. It was witnessed by a good Samaritan who stayed with the dog and called State Police.
