First Baby Of 2026 Arrives For Hospital In Red Bank

An Atlantic Highlands couple rang in the new year by welcoming Riverview Medical Center's first baby of 2026.

RED BANK, NJ — An Atlantic Highlands couple rang in the new year by welcoming Riverview Medical Center’s first baby of 2026.

At 1:44 a.m., parents Caterina Wulfing and Tim Wilt welcomed their baby girl, who weighed in at 7 pounds, 6 ounces, a spokesperson said.

Baby girl Wilt joins a group of new babies across New Jersey, who each helped their families ring in the new year.

"The arrival of the first babies of 2026 is a joyous and exciting moment for all of us at Hackensack Meridian Health. It's a powerful reminder of our mission: to provide the highest quality care to every mother and child,” said Robert C. Garrett, FACHE, CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health.
