Well, we're gearing up for the weekend and there are high school shows opening, runs continuing at community theaters and other things going on.

• Oceanic Library in Rumson is having its Holiday Boutique from 5 to 9 p.m. You can purchase works of local artists, including photography, jewelry, ceramics.

• Coastal Decor, at 803 River Rd. in Fair Haven is having its holiday open house at 5:30 p.m.

• The second performance of Tartuffe is at RBR tonight.

•  The Red Bank Rotary Club is hosting its annual Can-a-Thon at local stores through Saturday. Click here for more info.
