Halloween Fun Planned In Rumson

RUMSON, NJ — There are lots of fun and spooky happenings coming up in Rumson for Halloween. Here's what you can add to your October calendar:

• Rumson Recreation will be showing "Hocus Pocus" on the big screen in Victory Park Friday, Oct. 20, at 6:30 p.m. Popcorn is provided; families are encouraged to bring snacks, a blanket or chairs to enjoy the movie.
• The Halloween Parade and Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, Oct. 21, at Riverside Park at 3 p.m. In addition to the parade and egg hunt, the PTO will be doing their table-or treat event.
• The Rumson Halloween House Decorating Contest will take place between Saturday, Oct. 28 and Halloween, Tuesday, Oct. 31. Families are encouraged to vote via the Rumson Recreation website. The deadline to participate is Oct. 19, and you can find the form on the website.
