Halloween Hoopla: Check Out Events In Red Bank This Weekend
With Hogwarts at the library, the annual parade on Sunday and more, Red Bank will be bubbling with Halloween spirit.

RED BANK, NJ — Halloween weekend in town gets off to a flying start with a Harry Potter theme at the Red Bank Public Library on Saturday.
"Halloween at Hogwarts" runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Oct. 29 at the library with games, crafts and snacks. Activities will take place in the meeting room and in the library backyard.
"Come dressed in your wizard robes and create some magical memories with your family and friends," the library staff suggests.

Then on Sunday, Oct. 30, which promises to be a good weather day, there is the 74th annual Red Bank Halloween Parade, which was postponed from Oct. 23.
Lineup and judging will begin at 1 p.m. at the East Bergen Place and Hudson Avenue. The parade kicks off at 2 p.m. The parade will march down Broad Street to the White Street Parking lot for best costume awards, festive activities and music. And on Friday, you can take in a Jersey Shore Ghost Tours event. The company is still offering lantern-lit walking tours through Red Bank. Remaining dates are Oct. 28 and Nov. 4 and 11. Tours begin at 8:30 p.m. in front of The Dublin House, 30 Monmouth St. Registration is required at https://www.jerseyshoreghosttours.net. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for children under 12.
Finally, there is a free Halloween Movie Night Friday at 6 p.m. at Riverside Park with a showing of "Hocus Pocus," sponsored by the borough and Red Bank RiverCenter. Rain date is Oct. 29.
