Here’s Why Andy Was Shouted Out As 2024 Grad

Little Silver, New Jersey — Graduation is a major milestone and deserves to be celebrated! That's why Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to recognize our community's outstanding 2024 graduates.

Andy has single handedly supported dozens of students to reach their potential in math. He started as a sophomore and took ownership of a group 3-5 students who were struggling to pass Algebra 1. He met with them 2-3 times per week to ensure they completed their go
Work and prepared for assessments. Some improved 3 letter grades.
As a Junior, he expanded his support and continued to help groups of students in Geometry or Algebra 2. He has such a way of motivating, inspiring and showing that success in school is cool. Andy didn’t stop coming after he had more than enough community service hours. Even as a senior, kids will stop by during study hall and ask if he is coming today. Andy is the most dedicated peer tutor/mentor that I have ever had in over 15 years. I am so happy to see him graduate, but not sure how I will ever replace him!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

Andy is the real deal. He helps others for no other reason than he genuinely cares.
