Little Silver PTO Hosting 21st Annual Little Silver 5K Run and Kids Races

The Little Silver PTO will be holding the 21st Annual Little Silver 5K Run and Kids’ Races on October 5, 2014 at Red Bank Regional High School. The event raises money for the PTO to use to fund various programs and equipment for the district’s two schools.

There will be a post race party at the Little Silver Firehouse following the event, with food, drinks, music and activities for kids!

SCHEDULE:
8:45 a.m.: Kids’ One Mile Fun Run (start and finish on RBR track)
9:30 a.m.: 5K Start
Kiddie Dashes (PreK-4th grade) following conclusion of 5K

AWARDS:
New for 2014, the top three overall male and female finishers will receive cash prizes ($100, $50, and $25) in all 5-year age groups up to 80+. There will also be awards for the 1st place male and female Little Silver residents, and medals for all children participating in Kiddie Dashes and One-Mile Fun Run.

REGISTRATION:
Registration is currently open at www.LittleSilver5K.com.

The registration fee for the 5K is $30 until September 30, and $35 thereafter. The Kids One Mile Fun Run registration is $15 until September 29, and $20 thereafter. USATF Members: Enter discount code “USATF” for discount and your USATF number at the end when registering. Race Packet Pick-Up and late registration is available on Friday, October 3rd from 4 to 7 p.m. at Road Runner Sports in Shrewsbury; on October 4th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Road Runner Sports in Shrewsbury; and on the October 5th Race Day from 8 to 9 a.m. in the Red Bank Regional High School lobby.
